Makrana marble has 5 varieties. Makrana white, Albeta, Dungri, Kumari and Makrana Pink
Makrana white is also called sangemarmar and is the most common type of calcitic stone of white color used for sculpture and in building construction for flooring and wall cladding, and even the Taj Mahal is made from the Makrana white marble.
Albeta marble has two varieties brown albeta and grey albeta. It has a white base with grey, black and brown veins on its surface and is also used for book matching designs.
Dungri marble comes with a slightly Grey pattern and its base is white and greyish. It is preferred for flooring purpose. It doesn’t require any chemical treatment.
Kumari marble is the most economic type of Makrana marble and also has a white base with grey veins on its surface
Makrana Pink comes in two shades. Complte light pink base without any veins and white and pink base with black veins.
